Mythical Games’ NFL Rivals Goes Live on iOS and Android

Mythical Games has announced that NFL Rivals mobile game is now available in App Store and Play Store.  NFL Rivals is a fantasy football game where players act as team general managers and try to win games. While the game is free to play, users can buy, sell, and trade character NFTs via Mythical’s online marketplace.

Mythical CEO John Linden says NFL Rivals was designed with a younger Gen Z audience in mind, and the game has a fast-paced art style and gameplay incorporating Web3 principles. NFL Rivals brought in 150,000 players during its beta phase, with the broader Mythical economy seeing $1.6 million worth of NFT sales in just one day. Mythical plans to expand the game’s audience with its public debut, targeting 10 million players this year.

The studio also plans to launch other titles and a Blankos Block Party expansion, which it believes will ultimately see 40-50 million players across all its games. To accommodate such a large audience, Mythical Games has decided to move its game platform from its own private Ethereum-compatible network to Polkadot.
