Uniswap Mobile Wallet App Goes Live on iOS, Streamlining Web3 and DeFi Integration

After a brief dispute with Apple, Uniswap has successfully launched its mobile wallet app for iOS devices in select countries. Previously, the Uniswap team had reported that Apple was preventing the app’s listing on the App Store. However, the recent update confirms the wallet is now available in most countries.

The new Uniswap wallet enables users to swap tokens on the Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism networks. It also offers compatibility with other Ethereum apps through WalletConnect. Users can record their seed phrases or encrypt their key vaults with a password for account backup in iCloud.

Also, the Uniswap app provides users with detailed information about NFTs stored within it, such as floor prices and collections. Uniswap remains Ethereum’s largest decentralized crypto exchange, boasting over $3.4 billion in total value locked within its smart contracts.

Bitcoin Gaming Expands to Africa Through Local Crypto Exchange Partnership

A partnership between fintech and gaming payments processor Zebedee and crypto exchange platform Bitnob brings Bitcoin gaming to Africa. This will allow gamers to send and receive small Bitcoin (BTC) amounts while playing popular games like Counter-Strike. The collaboration leverages the Bitcoin Lightning Network (LN) to offer payment and gaming reward options across the continent.

African users can earn Bitcoin through Zebedee-powered apps and games, enabling developers to replace in-game points rewards with satoshis. These satoshis can be converted through the partnership into local currencies.

Zebedee’s chief strategy officer, Ben Cousens, noted that the collaboration was driven by game developers who wanted to use Bitcoin for tournaments and gaming rewards. Traditional fiat payment methods proved too expensive and restrictive for rewarding players in Africa, limiting developers to the U.S. and other regions.

Ronin Network’s RON Token Skyrockets by 500% Ahead of Major Upgrade and Gaming Partnerships

Ronin Network’s native token, RON, has experienced a 500% increase in value since the beginning of the year. This is driven by the network’s upcoming shift to the delegated proof-of-stake (DPoS) consensus mechanism and plans to expand its gaming portfolio beyond Axie Infinity.

With only six to nine participants securing and validating transactions, the previous mechanism exposed the network to centralization risks, leading to a $650 million hack on the Ronin Network earlier this March 29, 2022. The new blockchain mechanism will enable RON stakers to earn from network fees and vote on validators operating the network.

Sky Mavis, the team behind both Axie Infinity and the Ronin Network, is actively expanding the network’s gaming portfolio. On March 30, they announced partnerships with four new gaming studios, including Tribes Studio, Directive Games, Bali Games, and Bowled.io.

Axie Infinity saw increased usage in January after introducing land gameplay and new earnings mechanics for players. Currently, the game ranks 11th in unique active users but remains the top blockchain game concerning the total value of NFTs and tokens, with a balance of $804.9 million.

ArcherSwap Launches P2E Game with Core Lottery, Offering Prizes Worth 500 $CORE

ArcherSwap, a Decentralized Exchange (DEX) on the Core chain, has launched a new Play to earn (P2E) GameFi product, the $CORE Lottery, following the successful launch of the $BOW Lottery. Participants in the $CORE Lottery can win from a prize pot of 500 $CORE, which will increase depending on the number of participants. ArcherSwap announced the launch on Twitter, along with details of the rewards distribution format.

To join the game, users need to purchase tickets with $CORE and can win if 2, 3, or 4 of their ticket numbers match during the lottery draw. The user who gets 4 matched tickets will receive 50% of the total prize pool. The prize pool will grow with increasing ticket purchases, as confirmed by the team to BSC News.

Core DAO is the official decentralized organization behind the development of the Satoshi Plus ecosystem. It allows miners to access new revenue streams by contributing hash power to the chain.
